Liquisort Plastics is engaged in plastic separation. This sorting method works based on the density of the plastic materials.
This brand new patented technology is especially developed for plastic mixes with particle sizes below 15 mm; existing technologies such as NIR (Near Infrared) are not suitable for the sorting of these materials. Also for dark coloured particles other available techniques cannot be used.
The Liquisort MDS technology is applicable where conventional sorting technologies are imperfect.
Due to the fact that the MDS technology works with a magnetic liquid in combination with an extremely strong patented magnetic system, various plastics with even a very small difference in density can be sorted in almost pure fractions.
The Liquisort MDS technology makes it even possible to sort plastic strams with a density below1 kg/dm3.
